Handicapped Wheelchair Accessible Bus

Dear Donor/sponsor

Vaughan Chapter Paralyzed Veterans of America (VPVA)is a 501 (C) 3 not for profit veteran’s service organization and has been serving catastrophically disabled veterans and Illinois’ disability community since 1947 through generous contributions from benefactors such as you.We are also chartered by the Congress of the United States of America and are a founding chapter of the Paralyzed Veterans of America.

On behalf of our paralyzed/disabled veterans, our organization (VPVA), we are reaching out to the community and asking to consider financially donating whatever amount you can to help us replace our current handicapped bus.The bus is now 15 years old.Aside from the rusted out body, there are significant concerns such as rusted out tie-downs inside due to a water leak that we have tried to correct numerous times and are ‘beyond repair’ and is a major safety issue for our veterans. In addition to the above, both the heating and air conditioning continue to need repairs. This, too, is a major hazard for our paralyzed veterans who need both a\c and heat when using the bus.

Please consider designating a donation to purchase this new bus for our deserving veterans so they can enjoy the activities arranged throughout the year utilizing transport in this adapted bus.

Thank you in advance for your generous donation!
